Mrs. Nagamma is 80yrs old. Her husband died leaving her with 3 daughters. All of her daughters got married and Mrs. Nagamma had to sell her house to pay for the last daughter’s marriage. But then her daughters refused to take care of her. Without any home, money or possessions, she was found in Parry Flower Market at Chennai and she was brought to VUYIROLI home. She suffers with poor eyesight, and has now been living in our home for 1year. She has found a new life and enjoyment without sorrow in our home.

Mr. Natarajan was from the Arakkonam district, near Chennai and came to Chennai at the age of 60. He is paralyzed, unmarried and has severe asthma. He became dependent as he suffered with folded legs due to rheumatism, as well as asthma. He had no savings and nobody to take care of him. He was forced to beg in Perambur Railway Station. At this time a teacher who knew about VUYIROLI’S service helped him to join VUYIROLI home. VUYIROLI has been caring him for the last 5 years with the love Christ has shown to the poor. He is now 72 and is one of the happiest people at home in spite of his severe illness.


Mrs. Vijayalakshmi HER STORY : Mrs. Vijayalakshmi comes from Madurai, South Tamilnadu. Her Father was a policeman and she had four brothers. After her father died, she was physically ill and was abused by her relatives. She ran away from her house and came to Chennai and worked as a servant maid in a house in South Chennai. When she had frequent fits she was forced to leave the job. Then with the help of a staff of World Vision she came to the Vuyiroli home. After coming here, she feels at home and very happy in the Lord. God gave her the dignity back through Vuyiroli home.
