| Mr. Selvaraj comes from a
very low income family, involved in illicit liqueur selling.
He is unmarried and became abandoned once he was paralyzed.
He had no hope for his next meal as he was left all alone.
He was found begging in the streets of North Chennai in
a paralyzed condition. A volunteer found him in a very
bad shape and brought him to VUYIROLI home. After preliminary
counseling he was admitted on 19th July'01, and he was
provided with shelter, good diet, clothes and medical
treatment. He has been given physiotherapy and speech
therapy. His condition is very stable now. He makes paper
covers using his left hand. He is a very joyful person
in VUYIROLI home and joins in the worship service of the
Home regularly. |
